In the meantime, Kathy ran out to the store to get supplies for today's church picnic. When she returned, there was a hole in Hailie's mouth and no tooth in sight.
Luckily, the tooth fairy accepted the note that we wrote explaining the missing tooth and Hailie woke up to a crisp $1 bill under her pillow.

i was party to losing my niece's tooth. she left a note apologizing to the tooth fairy and then suggested the tooth fairy take one of her aunt's teeth in trade. what?? the next morning, i was startled out of sleep by several of her siblings wanting to see which tooth was missing from auntie's mouth!
