Well,we just couldn't leave without one more catchy title. We did make it to Shamian Island to do a bit of shopping and we were brave enough to do it by taxi on our own. It actually was very convenient both ways and pretty painless. the guy coming back was pretty savvy on the shortcuts; the fare was only 27 rmb which equates to about $4.50. We finally made it to Tekila's for dinner (last night's attempt to eat there is another one of our big stories for another time) and had a pretty nice meal. Except for one outburst (by you know who) the girls were very well mannered and patient. They kept themselves very occupied with the coloring pages that were thankfully provided by the waitperson.

Overall it has been a pretty nice final day, hopefully a precursor to the 29 hour marathon we begin tomorrow. We can't wait to get home and have everyone meet Juliana and for Juliana to meet and begin here new life with us, with you, and most importantly with our Savior Jesus Christ.
